Planning for Indore's climate

Indore sits on the Malwa plateau with black cotton soil, hot summers and a good monsoon. Black soil holds water but cracks when dry, so gardens here need soil mixing and mulching.

Plant in the monsoon from late June. Winter vegetables and flowers do well from October to February. Mulch beds and water deeply from March to June.

Yes, if the slab can take the load and there is water and power. A rooftop farm often uses sunlight with shade netting, which cuts the electricity bill compared with a fully indoor LED farm.
How long does a project take?
Small café, school or campus farms take a few weeks once the proposal is agreed. Larger commercial farms depend on the building work and the climate-control equipment, and the proposal gives the schedule.
