Family homes with a courtyard or roof

Independent houses in the older part of Pimple Gurav often have a front courtyard and a usable roof. We design these as a small, low-upkeep garden: a parijat or champa for shade and scent, a tulsi vrindavan, flowering shrubs in beds, and a vegetable corner in grow bags on the roof.

Where the soil is the region's heavy black clay, we raise beds and add compost and sand so roots do not sit in water during the monsoon.

Society gardens

Societies in Pimple Gurav hand us their lawns, hedges, trees and podium planters on an annual contract, with gardeners deployed on site and a supervisor's visits. Tree work inside the compound is planned around the municipal corporation's permission, which is needed under the state's tree protection law before large branches are cut.

Plots near the Pavana stay wet longer after heavy rain, while in summer the city's alternate-day supply makes storage and drip the reliable way to water. Most gardens we set up here have both: good drainage for the monsoon and a timer for the dry months.
