For Bengaluru

We take over the upkeep of your gardens on an annual contract: gardeners on our payroll deployed to your site, a supervisor who checks the work, a visit plan, and a monthly report with photos. Lawns, hedges, trees, flower beds, potted plants and irrigation are covered, with manure, pest control and seasonal flowers in one monthly fee.

Our team for Bangalore serves Whitefield, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road, Manyata Tech Park, Koramangala, HSR Layout, Indiranagar, Hebbal, Peenya and Bommasandra. Contracts can cover several sites in the city, or across cities, under one agreement.

Local conditions

Planning for Bangalore's climate

Fig. 01Climate and soil

Bangalore is mild through the year with two monsoons and red soil. Almost every garden plant grows well here, and the city has a strong culture of terrace gardens and managed farmland.

Planting works from June to November across both monsoons. From March to May, water more and mulch. Winter flowers do well from November.

Garden Maintenance Services · Bangalore

A garden that cannot lean on drinking water

In March 2024, during the city's water crisis, BWSSB banned the use of Cauvery drinking water for gardening and began fining offenders. Garden maintenance in Bangalore now has to keep lawns and beds healthy on a tighter water budget, and our contracts plan the watering around it for offices in Electronic City and Whitefield, factories, hospitals, colleges and apartment communities.

The BWSSB order barred potable water for car washing, gardening, fountains and construction, with a penalty for a first offence and a further daily penalty for repeats. Within two weeks, 22 households had been fined.

That pushes garden upkeep towards treated water from the site's own STP where it has one, drip lines in place of open hoses, and lawns kept where people use them. Irrigation upkeep matters more here than in most cities, because a leaking joint wastes water the site may not be able to replace.

Pruning needs the Tree Officer

Under the Karnataka Preservation of Trees Act, 1976, no tree may be felled without the Tree Officer's prior permission, and pruning on private or public land in the city also needs the forest officer's approval. The Tree Officer has up to three months to decide, though some species, such as coconut, mango, silver oak and eucalyptus, are exempt.

Because approval can take time, tree work on a Bengaluru campus is listed by our supervisor well ahead of the monsoon winds. Until it comes through, the trees get pest and disease control, manure and watering.

Campuses along Hosur Road and beyond

Electronic City, set up by KEONICS on Hosur Road, covers about 800 acres in four phases, and its township association looks after the common areas. Inside each campus, the lawns, hedges and potted plants are the occupier's job, which is where a garden contract comes in.

Bengaluru's mild weather keeps plants growing for most of the year, so mowing and hedge trimming never stop for a winter break. One contract can cover offices in Electronic City and Whitefield, each with its own deployed gardener and one monthly report with photos.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can our Bengaluru garden be watered with STP water instead of Cauvery water?

Yes, where the site has its own treated water. BWSSB banned drinking water for gardening in March 2024, and we plan irrigation upkeep around whatever non-potable supply the site has.

Do we need permission to prune trees on our campus in Bengaluru?

Usually yes. Felling and pruning need the forest officer's permission under the Karnataka Preservation of Trees Act, 1976, except for a list of exempt species.

Does garden work slow down in a Bengaluru winter?

Hardly. The city's mild climate keeps grass and hedges growing most of the year, so mowing and trimming continue on the regular visit plan.

Do you provide garden maintenance services across Bangalore?

Yes. We work across Bengaluru, including Whitefield, Electronic City, Outer Ring Road, Manyata Tech Park, Peenya and Bommasandra.

What does garden maintenance services cost in Bangalore?

Garden Maintenance Services in Bangalore is priced for each project in a written proposal, since the cost depends on the space, the crops and how much is automated.

How do you serve Bangalore?

Our team visits Bangalore once you agree the proposal, and maintenance is carried out by gardeners deployed in the city for your contract. Message us on WhatsApp to book a date.

What does a garden maintenance contract cover?

Gardeners deployed to your site, supervision, lawn, hedge, tree and flower-bed care, potted plants, manure, pest control, irrigation upkeep and green-waste clearing, for a fixed monthly fee set out in a written proposal.

How is the monthly fee worked out?

From the garden area, the number of trees and potted plants, how often work is needed, and how many gardeners that takes. You receive a fixed figure in a written proposal.

Can one contract cover several sites?

Yes. Offices, plants and campuses in the same city, or across cities, can be covered under one agreement with one monthly report.
