Garden Design and Landscaping in Hyderabad
A designed garden for your bungalow, villa, row house or society: drawing, plants, lawn, paths and watering. Across Hyderabad and Cyberabad, priced in a written proposal.
For Hyderabad and Cyberabad
We design and build gardens around homes: the front garden and entrance, the side strip, the back lawn, a courtyard or a housing society's common garden. You get a scaled drawing and a plant list suited to your city's weather and your hours of sun, then our team lays the beds, lawn, paths, edging, lighting and drip irrigation, and plants it. After handover the garden can be looked after on a monthly plan.
Our team for Hyderabad serves HITEC City, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Kondapur, Financial District, Kokapet, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Kompally and Shamshabad.
Who it is for — Bungalow, villa and row-house owners, builders handing over homes, and housing societies.

Local conditions
Planning for Hyderabad's climate
Fig. 01Climate and soil
Hyderabad has a hot, dry summer, a moderate monsoon and rocky or red soil. Gardens here need soil building, drip irrigation and heat-tolerant plants.
Fig. 02When to plant and how to care
Plant in the monsoon from late June to September. October to February suits flowers and vegetables. From March to May, shade young plants and water daily.

Working with rock and shallow soil
Much of Hyderabad sits on granite with only a thin layer of red sandy soil on top, often too shallow for a lawn or a tree on its own. Garden design and landscaping in Hyderabad starts by building that soil, then plans for summers above 40°C from April to June and hard bore-well water. We design and build gardens for bungalows in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, villas in gated communities around Gachibowli, Kokapet and Kompally, and community gardens.
Where the soil is thin, planting beds are built up with brought-in soil and compost, and tree pits are dug through to a proper depth before planting. Where granite shows through, it can stay as a feature: a rock garden with succulents, grasses and adenium uses the outcrop instead of paying to break it.
Lawns are kept to areas where the soil bed can be made deep enough, and the rest of the garden uses gravel, stone paths and beds, which suits both the ground and the water supply.
Plants for heat and hard water
Bougainvillea, tecoma, kaner, adenium, plumeria and sadabahar take Hyderabad's long dry summer well, and neem, pongamia (kanuga) and gulmohar give shade. Hard bore-well water leaves salts in the soil, so plants that tolerate it are chosen, and beds are flushed with a deep watering from time to time.
Seasonal beds and lawns are planted to catch the rain that falls between June and October, about 800 mm a year with July alone typically around 178 mm, so they are rooted before the dry months begin.
Trees under WALTA
Trees in Telangana are protected under the Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002, and felling them needs approval, with new trees planted in return. A garden redesign keeps healthy existing trees and draws beds and paths around their root zones.
Drip lines run to every bed and tree, with the heaviest watering planned for April and May, when a garden without irrigation browns within days.

Questions
Frequently asked
Can a lawn grow on rocky ground in Hyderabad?
Only where a proper soil bed is built first. On thin soil over granite, we bring in and level a growing bed before laying grass, or use gravel and planting instead of lawn.
Which plants handle Hyderabad's summer?
Bougainvillea, tecoma, kaner, adenium, plumeria and sadabahar are reliable, with neem, pongamia and gulmohar for shade.
When should a new garden be planted in Hyderabad?
As the rains begin in June, so plants root during the wet months. Planting in the hot months needs daily drip watering from the first day.
Do you provide garden design and landscaping for homes across Hyderabad?
Yes. We work across Hyderabad and Cyberabad, including HITEC City, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Kondapur, Financial District and Kokapet.
What does garden design and landscaping for homes cost in Hyderabad?
Garden Design and Landscaping for Homes in Hyderabad is priced for each project in a written proposal, since the cost depends on the space, the crops and how much is automated.
How do you serve Hyderabad?
Our team visits Hyderabad once you agree the proposal, and maintenance is carried out by gardeners deployed in the city for your contract. Message us on WhatsApp to book a date.
What does garden design include?
A site visit, a scaled layout drawing, a plant list chosen for your sun, soil and city, and a list of materials for beds, paths and watering. If you want, our team then builds and plants it.
How is the price of a home garden worked out?
From the area, the share that is lawn, beds or paving, the size of plants you want on day one, and whether irrigation and lighting are included. You get a fixed figure in a written proposal after the site visit.
Can you redo an existing garden instead of starting fresh?
Yes. We keep the healthy trees and shrubs, move what is in the wrong place, and redesign the beds, lawn and paths around them.
Do you design small gardens and side strips?
Yes. Narrow side strips, small front gardens and courtyards often need the most careful plant choice, because every plant is seen up close.
Will the garden need a gardener every day?
No. We design for the upkeep you can give: drip on a timer, plants suited to the site, mulched beds and less lawn where it would struggle. A weekly or fortnightly visit keeps most home gardens in shape.
